A bumpy road

Cora has begun the stem cell transplant process. She went on Monday for 7 days of chemo before the stem cells are transplanted this upcoming Monday. On Wednesday night she had a seizure caused by the chemo. It was very scary, as it lasted a long time and caused powerful hallucinations. I’ve never seen so many doctors and nurses in 1 room. She has mostly recovered and we are excited that tomorrow will be her last day of chemo. We hope it is the last chemo dose she ever needs.

We ALL hope it’s the last chemo dose she ever needs, too.
